Blooming Right Now - What Is It?

(Doug) Murfreesboro, TN

This appears to be a cultivated, perennial flower as it blooms in the same lawn every year and its clump gets bigger and bigger. It is an impressive plant because the flower stalks are 3 to 4 feet tall and, after about five years, there are 20 to 30 stalks in the clump. It blooms for about a month in mid-summer. I have attached some pictures showing the blossom, the leaf, and the branching. Can someone help me identify this beautiful plant or suggest another forum where it might be recognized?

Cut-leaf coneflower/Rudbeckia laciniata maybe "Hortensia'

Thanks china. Here's a picture of the whole group. The stalks are beginning to droop some toward the end of their bloom run. Earlier they were more erect. Is Rudbeckia laciniata sold as a cultivated species or does it have to be dug from the wild?

It is sold as an heirloom plant, has been around since Victorian times. There is a more compact version called Gold Drops that does not get as tall and forms smaller clumps.
