I would like to add a new Butterfly to BugFiles

Algonquin, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi,
After searching unsuccessfully in BugFiles for a butterfly from Africa I discovered I could actually add a new one. I typed in the required info, but was directed to this forum since it was an unfamiliar species.

Below is the info along with my picture, as well as two links to butterfly info sites discussing this particular butterfly.

Also, I don't know if it matters, but my picture was taken at Chicago Botanic Garden's "Butterflies & Blooms" exhibit. I did not see it in the wild in Africa.

Thanks! I really appreciate the opportunity.

Common Name: Angolan White Lady
Order: Lepidoptera
Family: Papilionidae
Genus: Graphium
Species: Angolanus

I don't know why you couldn't add it yourself. Perhaps you mistyped the family name. It is only if the family or order are not recognised that it refers you to Admin.

Anyway I have entered your butterfly into BugFiles here:

and you can go ahead and add your images,

Ken

Thanks so much, Ken!
I don't know why it sent me here, either, but having never added a bug before, I figured it was normal policy. I really appreciate your help. To me, this is very exciting! I'll go ahead and post my photo right away.

I still need to search the rest of my pics to see if I have more than one image.
