I have this in my yard in San Diego. The only other place I have seen it growing was at the Royal Botanical Garden in Kauai. It is so beautiful, it grows so fast and takes over! I have whacked it way back and it always comes back with a flourish. What is the best way to propagate this vine?

Beautiful, BC(Zone 8b)

I've been working with this species in a conservatory environment. I have been able to propagate by placing stems in the ground with a rock ontop and waiting for roots to form. It sorta works.
