Last Perennial Purchases for 2014

(Zone 4b)

It seems kind of odd that this last summer visit to my far away go to nursery resulted in the most plants I have purchased at once anytime this season!

SHADE:

- 2 Thalictrum "Evening Star" (I have one of these already and I had recently thought of a location for two more). (It was for this reason only that I had planned to go plant shopping yesterday!)

- 1 Thalictrum "Kiusianum" (I have many Thalictrum but I have never noticed this petite one)

- 1 Leucosceptrum japonicum "Silver Angel"

- 2 Dicentra "Amore Rose" (Another new fern leaf dicentra. I have bought the "latest and greatest" of these dicentra the last couple of seasons and they have been terrible...one last chance).

- 1 Uvularia sessilifolia "Cobbleswood Gold"

- 1 Uvularia sessilifolia

SUN

- 2 Ranunculus acris 'Flore Pleno' ['Multiplex']

I would love to hear of your experiences with any of these plants.

I've had experience with a couple of the above:
Thalictrum evening star is nice; well behaved, not fussy.
T. kiusianum is SO TINY, it's hard to find a place to show it off.
I think it's a nice plant, so siting is important.
Leucosceptrum is 'OK', but it wants to spread too much.
It will run over more demure neighbors.
My u. Cobbleswood Gold petered out. Just tried it once.
I'll be interested in others' experience as well.
