I love my cheerful portulaca and would like to start collecting seed.
Will each plant produce plants of the same color or is it a "hit and miss"?
Thanks,
Zanimari
portulaca
Mine are in a large planter and return every year. I have not planted any since the original planting several years ago. We always have some freezing winter temperatures. So they are returning from seeds. They are always the same color although the purples and reds seem to be the most vigorous and dominant here.
Mine are annual Portulaca grandiflora. However, there are several types of Portulaca.
