Traveling as a Single

Need some input on traveling now that I am retired and
able to travel. I'm a single lady who has no one to travel
with. Has anyone done any group travel as a single thru
a travel agency? Is so, do the couples in the group stay
to themselves or do they welcome singles to join them?
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
