Years ago I had a few day lilies and when we moved to the new farm it never occurred to me to transplant them. I now have some thanks to my DG friends.
These are blooming like crazy, first is Tropical Depression from FruitoftheVine who thought it appropriate for us.
The second came to me in a swap and I (thanks to exuberant dogs) have lost the tag. Any ideas? The throat is actually green but the color is pretty close and the blooms are 5 1/2 to 6" across.

Joy, Purples can be hard to identify. Can you measure how tall the scape the flower is blooming from. I'll do a advance search on the AHS for you. It's beautiful!

I'm amazed at how well my plants are blooming this year. I did not put any fertilizer down this spring. I had many daylilies struck with spring sickness, didn't want to feed sick plants. I have seen the strangest things in my garden this year. Rosey Returns keeps putting up scapes with no blooms only prolifs. Lol Has anybody ever had this happen? I'm not complaining, just puzzled. Lol

Love the Pop Star Asiatic Lily reminds me of Halloween Kisses. Is it really that dark and not just a deep red?
Cam, It's really that dark! It's a orange and very Dark Brown. I bought it from Farawayflowers. It's my new favorite Lily! I'm going to plant daffodil bulbs around it this fall to protect the bulbs. I never loose a Lily bulb that has daffodil bulbs around it.

It had several less than great blooms, but yesterday's were pretty good. It was hybridized by Marriot in California. He also did Annabelle's Blush and Best in Class
