Spider mites

Melbourne, FL

I thought my orchids, which had been banished to the outside, had cleared up from the spider mites. I've now found them on my leafy green house plants. I'm afraid I'm going to lose everything. What do you guys use on houseplants to kill the nasty things? It's a hot time of the year to start start putting houseplants outside. Help
please!

Fl_gardener77, this is the Welcome Mat forum, where new members sometimes come to introduce themselves, and it's not used much. You could try posting your question on the houseplants forum.
Sorry, I don't know what advice to give you--good luck with those nasty bugs!

you might try using a spray of water and dish soap mixture - i've found this very effective against the two-spotted mite. if this doesn't have an immediate effect, try adding five/six drops of neem oil to the soap mixture.

can anyone identify this flowering plant? Thanks in advance...jackie

Pretty flowers, but I don't know what they are. This should be posted in the Plant ID forum, and someone there should have an answer for you:
