June 17th, 2014: Missouri Evening Primrose (Megapterium missouriensis) by Gabrielle
The Missouri Evening Primrose (Megapterium missouriensis) just does not bloom long enough, but maybe it makes up for that in its brilliant yellow blossom. I have this one and I bought it from a group of garden club ladies. I may end up moving mine more to the front of the border and closer to another plant that blooms about the same time. I may even divide it when I move it. So far - it is a happy camper.
