I've got a couple clumps of iris that are being moved due to landscaping changes. I have too many, so though it's not the best season for transplanting, they will still be fine, if ragged. One is Blue Crusader, see here: http://www.schreinersgardens.com/shop/images/bluecrusader_web1.jpg
The other is Yosemite Star, which is supposed to be a rebloomer but never has for me. http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/2009/11/07/Betja/00869a.jpg
If you'd like one or both, lemme know.
Irises to go
I would love to take some iris off your hands! I've never been successful with them, though! What do they need?
They need sun to bloom, some water to grow, and planted near the top of the soil, fertilizer once they start putting out new growth in the spring.
I too, would take some off your hands.
Sure, Rene, do you want to come up here?
what are your cross streets?
