Green worm in my Invincibelle

I notice on my Invincibelle a worm within "fused leaves" i.e. leaves at the tips appear to be stuck together. If you gently pry them apart, you will find the larvae (green worm) eating the tip of the branch. Yuck.

Is this old news?

Treatment(s) besides squashing?

Just nature happening. One I can live with, an army I can do without. There is an old adage about giving nature 10% or something along those lines. If the plant was being stripped then it is another matter.
