I believe these are non-breeding Dunlins. (used my Audubon Birds App) My confusion is one has black legs and one has lighter orange legs. Since this would be a life bird I would like to be sure. Any help appreciated.
Dunlin???
Two different birds there ;-)
First is a Least Sandpiper, the yellow legs and small bill are diagnostic.
Second is a Semipalmated Sandpiper - black legs, and you can (just!) see the partial webbing on its left foot.

Ah, you got your Dunlin! Congratulations! I was going to tell you to look for the black belly patch. And you are right for the Plover. Very nice birds. We missed most of the shorebirds this year.
Yep, correct on both!
