DH and I were at the Grand Canyon this spring. It sure has gotten built up since I was there as a child. Where I live, succulents/cacti pretty much have to live indoors. But not in Arizona! Wow! There were lots of photo ops. I had to share this picture.
Yucca......? I know how you feel! Every time I go visit where I was brought up, I'm blown away by the tropical foliage!

My thoughts exactly. I live in a place where plants like that grow wild all around and they still have not ceased to amaze me.
Yes, I'm with you both. The older I get, the more amazed I am at the beauty and complexity of everything (animal, vegetable, or mineral) on this spectacular planet.
