Flowering cactus vine- of some sort?

Naples, FL

Naples, Fl: This started as a small cutting a few years ago in the boots of Sabal palmetto. The cactus leaf/stem is quite flat with terminal flowers. The image was made at 530PM; it is possible that, like Cereus, the flowers are full at night.

Anyone have an idea what it is?

Many of the Epiphyllums have Cereus in their parentage. Epi. Oxypetallum and Epi Strictum are the two I am familiar with, but I'm sure there are more. You might want to peruse the Orchid Cactus forum for more info. and pictures.

Looks like Pitaya to me ! :p Miam !

(Dragonfruit)

They take 7 to 10 years for one to start flowering, wait for the fruits, keep the birds away and taste its most amazing fruits ! :)
