Food thread for WHA's June 8, 2014 RU

This is the place for letting everyone know what pot luck dish you plan to bring to Bill and Cindy's RU.

For those who haven't attended before, please bring a dish to share, as well as chairs for outside sitting. If you want to take part in the RAFFLE, please bring an unwrapped garden item to be raffled.

If everyone would DMAIL me what dish you plan to bring, I will add your name and dish to a master list.
I will start the list here:

Louise:: Vienna hot dogs, buns & chocolate covered cherry cake (maybe)

Bill & Cindy: chicken & Cindy's fab potato salad.

Marilyn: A surprise

Allison: ham/ pork roll for the grill

Celeste: whoopie pies

Karen: Cherry Buckle

Rosemary: tossed salad

Martha:: cole slaw, iced tea, maybe apple pie

Debi - white hots

Memory: homemade sauerkraut

Songs of Joy: a surprise

Kassia: not sure

Right now the count totals 18-20.

Since there are probably several familiar items anticipated; is there a food request that is likely to be unfilled? :)

Cole slaw and a jug of fresh brewed iced tea. I can bring ice to go along with if you want.

Hi all! I have edited the list above to include names of those planning to come, even though they haven't given a food choice yet, just so I can more easily keep up with those coming from both sites. I will continue to add food dishes as they are D-mailed to me. So looking forward to seeing everyone and getting a fix of eye candy from the gardens! Come one, Come all! 😃

We will be camping so I need to make something that doesn't take much space. I think I'll do my bean salad.Probably could bring oatmeal cookies, too.

DH hasn't said yet if he's coming wth me to the RU so I hope that's not an issue for food. I can bring another package of hot dogs.

Rosemary, it's not an issue at all! Make sure he knows there will be other guys there for him to hang out with if he's worried he will be an "extra". It's a great group of very friendly fun people. No worry about the food. We will have plenty! Look forward to meeting you both!
