Kawonkamish(Greetings) Robin,

I have set aside all that you requested, but I don't have anymore of the Frangula alnus. I'm listed in the exchange.

Aquene(Peace),

(Robin) Blissfield, MI(Zone 6a)

Thank you so much SnowRabbit (much easier to type than WaûtuckquesSóchepo)! I have sent a SASE for you. No problem with the Frangula alnus. I would like to know if you can separate the packet of Camellia japonica, double white so we can share with Stillplayswdirt though.

I don't even want to ask why you're getting rid of your seed stash, I just hope its for good reasons. Thanks immensely!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi Robin,

Unfortunately there is only two large seeds in the Camellia pack (it was from a trade). I am giving away my seeds stash, because I was in a car accident last July and am having a problem with the right side of my body. So now I am unable to do much gardening. My mother, who also gardens, is having a hard time gardening, due to her age. So, I'm giving it all away. When she gives me her stash I'll post that, too.

Aquene,
SnowRabbit.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Sorry to hear about your accident and not being able to garden, I hope you have another hobby that is as rewarding as gardening.. I can't imagine not being able to go play outside on a whim. I can always send pics your way of the pretties growing in my garden! And as for the camelia, that was my bad, didn't realize it said 1 pack. No biggie! I'm grateful for anything at all :)

Hi Anna, I realized I had dozens of cosmos sprouting in my yard already. I wouldn't have planted them if I received them.

Rogers, MN(Zone 4b)

I wish I had that problem! Maybe I will next year now... :)

I got my seeds today. Thank you soooo much! I am so very excited about the seeds and the amounts you gave me. I cannot wait to get to planting them. :):) I am so glad you liked the stamps. :) If you are able to recover and garden again, please let me know if I have anything you want so I can return the favor. I appreciate it so much!

P.S. I am such a dork...what kind of iris seeds are they? Just so I know height, etc. I love irises! :) (If you do not have any left/do not remember, no problem...I will just grow them and find out. :))

Hi,

The Iris looks like Japanese Water Iris 'Mandarin' (Iris ensata). http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/10611/
The color is a much deeper red, almost dark blood-red.

Peace,
SnowRabbit

AWESOME! I was told my irises do not bloom because I water too much (they are with flowers that need to be watered often in my climate). These like water. Thanks!

I wanted to say thank you for the seeds, SnowRabbit! Can't wait to grow them on, and my 13 y/o got a kick out of your name! He's used to my middle name, Kekaikapuowahineaukai.. But I'm from Hawaii. He'd never heard such a long name from another culture, really cool :)
Mahalo (thank you)!

Koonepeam(You're welcome). Oh mine's nothing, compared to a few of my cousins names. They are: Amakehsmohtompanunnooham (ButterflyMorningSong), Muckquoshimchequnikompau (QuietStandingWolf), and also, Nashauechegunmanunnappu (QuietGentleSpirit)... lol.

I wonder what the translation would be for 'plays with dirt' ;)

(Robin) Blissfield, MI(Zone 6a)

What really intrigues me would be the pronunciation of all the names listed...that's so cool. Thanks for sharing.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

You should have heard me trying for my 13 y/o. I thought I sounded good, but I'm sure SnowRabbit would think otherwise. LOL

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

All A's are pronounced as the (a) in dark.

Amakehsmohtompanunnooham (ButterflyMorningSong)
Ah-mak-ess-moe-tom-pan-un-noo-ham

Muckquoshimchequnikompau (QuietStandingWolf)
Muck-kwoe-shim-chek-kun-e-kom-paw

Nashauechegunmanunnappu (QuietGentleSpirit)
Nah-shaw-eh-cheh-gun-man-nun-ahpoo

That's as close as I can to translating the pronunciations. Hope that helps.
