Stay safe in the upcoming weather!

Sequim, WA(Zone 8a)

Hope everyone stays dry & safe the next couple of days!!

Starkville, MS(Zone 8a)

Yep, we are going to get pounded. Starkville had thunderstorms, one after another one, from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM, and that was not even part of the storm system headed our way tonight and all day tomorrow. The Weather Channel has already put our whole region under a tornado watch, and has pegged us at 80% chance for tornados. 80% is highest they will go when predicting these types of storms and seldom use that figure.

Ouch! Stay safe! Looks like we're in for rain, hail, winds & possible tornadoes...it's an eerie feeling knowing it 'could' happen & looking at the calm weather right now :-(

Our weather hasn't been calm all day. When all those thunderstorms finally moved out, the sun popped out but the wind never let up. It has been blowing a good 15 mph with gusts much stronger. That front coming in from the NW is sucking in all that warm moist air, thus the high winds out of the SE ahead of the severe weather.
