What ate my tulip leaves?

Hi all,

I just can't win when it comes to tulips. I had interplanted tulips with daffodils, and everything looked fine until 2 days ago. Every one of the tulips (I had only leaves showing) was eaten down to the ground. Daffs were fine, nothing eats those. I was thinking deer, but they would have to jump over a fence to get them and I didn't see any hoof prints. The only active critters around right now are squirrels. Could they be the culprits?

I was trying to decide if the rabbits or the deer ate mine. The deer and rabbit repellant didn't work. I didn't see any deer prints either. Good news is the flowers are starting to come up. Whatever it is that is eating them please stay away!

Rabbits eat mine. They chewed mine weeks ago when the flower buds were just poking up at ground level. So now they are blooming and I have a bunch of half tulip flowers. They continued to grow and open and the flowers are just cups on stems
