Haven't seen any praying mantis at A&P, my local hang out. Good luck with this one -- maybe egg cases from an online garden store?
I have never purchased any. They just seem to show up. Lady bug larva are in the front landscape so the praying mantis could not be far behind. Usually do not know they are around until yo are up and personal with a plant and al of sudden one is right in front of you. Happens every year. After the original fright, I am very happy to see them. Good luck in your search.
