Crista, I'm really glad the pics were helpful but I should have added that the 'desert honeysuckle' is really Justicia spicigera which has some other common names, too. Mexican honeysuckle (rather than Desert) is one, as are Orange plumeflower, and Firecracker Plant. My brain was being lazy. Thanks for making me see how lax I was.
