Quite by accident I noticed this small green flower on one of my caudiciforms. I am not sure the name of the plant. If anyone knows please let me know.
Thanks, Helen
Surprise flower
I just answered my own question. I found it on http://www.bihrmann.com/CAUDICIformS/subs/ade-cla-sub.asp
Its a Adenia cladosepala. Yeah. Now I can put a label on it.
Helen, are you sure about the identification? The leaves are different shape and the flower in your picture is not as succulent as the Adenia cladosepala.
I agree with you Nancy after looking more carefully. Oh well, back to square one. Thanks for the heads up!
This plant decided to flower all winter, one after another. (maybe the MG!)
I asked an expert and they IDed it as Jacaratia corumbensis.

Wow, nice that it flowers so much ... and you found out what it is!
I was glad about getting an ID. It was the Out of Africa folks that were so helpful. They IDed some others for me too.
Did you send Out of Africa a photo to identify? Is this the site:
http://www.out-of-africa-plants.com/
Yes thats the site. I have bought a lot of plants from them, mostly through ebay, during my 'collecting phase' around 7-8 years ago or so. Plus I am on their email list. Their plants are excellent quality.
Yes, they have a nice web site also. I wish I could say I am out of my 'collecting phase.'
