how do you make double spiral beeswax candles

Arlington, VA

Does anyone know how to make double spiral beeswax candle tapers? The edges are turned out and spiral down the candle. I read in one place to make a single spiral was to pour a sheet of melted beeswax and cut a diagonal. Roll it and turn the edges out.. I tried to roll a melted sheet of beeswax several times and it crumbled and made a mess. I tried heating it up more with a heat gun. Didn't work. The candles are really beautiful and being sold all over the net but I can't find any information on making them. Also I see some that look like a printed paper design is printed on one of the sheets. I know paper will burn on a taper and would like to know how this is done. Thanks.
