Can I grow iris in Phoenix area

Hello,
I am in the process of moving from WI zone 4 to the Phoenix area zone 9, can I grow iris in zone 9?
Do iris borers exist there, I hope not!

No borers. You can grow the TBs, I would think not Siberians. Try the arils.
