Hooray, dehydrator is working again

My Excalibur dehydrator has not been functional since mid-summer last year, not a dehydrator problem but the wiring in my pantry room. I finally got the room rewired today so I'm back in business for when summer crops start coming in again. although I may do some onions, sweet potatoes and winter squash that are still in my pantry.

Dehydrating makes a lot of sense compared to canning because of needing less storage space.
