I took this photo at 4 pm yesterday, and we probably got another inch. This is snow on one of my Chinese egg pots. Most snow we have seen since leaving Kentucky in 2003.
Today's forecast: sleet, freezing rain and ice. Ewww!

It is pretty but.......
Weather Underground says we are getting snow but all we've seen has been very cold rain. Good thing it is not snow because it has been pouring since the middle of the night. 36 here now. Brrrrrr
Stay warm.
Pretty much all of Wilmington is closed because of the ice taking down trees and weighing down power lines.
In the town to our North, Carolina Beach, they closed the main road because power lines are dipping very low. That being said, the island where we are is one of the few places around that hasn't lost any power.
