No, I haven't noticed any odor or flies.
These blossoms always strike me as something we'd see in an aquarium, not in a desert garden! Very pretty!

Baynesia lophophora, Stapelia kwebensis, Pleiospiloa nelii 'Split Rock' and Stapelia rufa.
I LOVE stapeliad blooms!
Echidnopsis cereiformis bloomed today; the flower is less than 1/4" across.
Duvalia angustiloba; there were two flowers and I almost missed then, they're that small.
