Can't open Comcast on my computer.

I have had Comcast as my home page with email since I can't remember when. I left the country for a couple of weeks on 10 January. When I returned, I can't open Comcast on my old laptop.
I have a 2008 model, Dell Inspiron running 32 bit Vista home.
I can open Comcast on my 2 new Dell All-IN-Ones, running Windows 8.
I recently purchased AVAST security software, as I have had good luck with AVAST in the past.
