11th Sign, Aquarius, The Legs (Horoscope: 22 January to 19 February)

Aquarius in the Kitchen
Not the greatest cook, Aquarius foodie prefers to snack and run. He / She would rather have take-out food than cook, or visit a restaurant for their meals. Pizzas often are a regular choice. In the modern, equiped and very bright kitchen, fruits can be found stacked in bowls and on counters and tables. What can be simpler than wash-and-eat?.

While their tasting style is inquisitive, they are not exactly adventurous, they like a variety of strong flavors, including onions, garlic, peppers, but they will eat almost anything.
Making food for them can be quite a task, but they do it for very especial occasions. Aquarius wants to forge new experiences and enjoys pairing unusual foods, that he / she will prepare in his/her own and invites friends over, for Aquarius the fellowship between diners is more important than the food itself and their guest enjoy the experience.

Many of these are nutritionally rich, and some starchy varieties form important staple foods of communities across the world.

Some root vegetables: Asparagus, Beets, Carrots, Daikons, Garlic, , Ginger, Ginseng, Horseradish, Jerusalem Artichoke, Leek, Mushroom, Onion, Parsnip, Potato, Radish, Shallot, Spring Onion, Swede or Rutabaga (larger yellow- or orange-fleshed) , Sweet potatoes, Taro, Turmeric, Turnip (smaller, white-fleshed), Yams.

Root vegetables are either roots or underground stems of the plant. Wondering how stems can grow underground? Well, some plants have modified stems, and these perform different functions. Although the term root vegetable entails plants where the underground portions are used, their usage need not be limited to only these parts. Many plants such as turnips and celery are utilized for their roots as well as their stalks and greens. Here we have classified root vegetables into two types:

True roots
Modified stems
