"Senior" horse feed

Central, AL(Zone 8a)

Had the vet out and she told me I should start using "senior" horse feed on my 26 year old mare. She is my one and only horse and has been my friend and companion for the past 18 years.

She had some colic and the vet said her stool was dry and noted she has lost some weight. Her teeth were good and her appetite has been excellent. She said that any of the major brands is fine, but I would like to know if anyone here has a personal preference.

She has been a sound, healthy and happy equine and I want to keep her as healthy as I can.
