I am growing a white sage and it was doing so well. Today i found these crazy bugs on it the undersides of the leaves and in the crevices. they looked like little tiny pebbles. but i could see a couple of them moving. (most stayed totally still though and were like suctioned on). they seemed to leave a glossy sticky residue also. i think the residue is visible in one of the pics. if somebody could help identify the pest and tell me how to treat them to make sure they dont come back that would be awesome!
pest ID and treatment?
They look a little like kudzu bugs to me, but it's really hard to see them well enough in the photos. Do a Google search for the 'kudzu bug' to see if they look like the bugs on your white sage.
