Help! Brown spots on meyer lemon

Croton-on-Hudson, NY(Zone 6b)

Help! My Meyer lemon tree is indoors in a container. It is about 4 years old. It looks very green and healthy and is full of blooms. I think I have the right soil, food, sun, temperature etc. but now it has some strange brown spots on the leaves and they are dropping off. Can't see any of the usual bugs. All I can think of is too much or too little water. I've read about leaf curl, but this is different. Any help will be appreciated.

PS - I repotted it this summer and we have well water and no water softener so I have ruled out salt build-up.

It looks like some type of damage from weather. Did it receive any frost or cold temps?

weeding - It was taken inside at the proper time for the winter, lost all of it's leaves, but started growing new leaves just before it went outside this spring. It is doing better now. Thanks.
