xfinity emails sequence out of order

About a week ago I noticed my emails are all mixed up in order received. I did not change anything. To correct this I clicked "view" in attempt to set the emails to show them in order received. However, I do not see that option. By clicking "view" I have the following options: BY CONVERSATION, BY MESSAGE. THEN FURTHER DOWN: READING PANE AT THE BOTTOM, READING PANE ON THE RIGHT & READING PANE OFF.

Where else can I go to adjust the order of emails received? I will open my email and a new one will be @ the top but then once I read that the remaining unopened and opened emails are out of sequence.
