Redecorating a room that hasn't been touched in many years.
I very much like Roman shades, but my gut feeling is that for a window this wide and short, that regular drapes might be better. The window faces north and I think that the shades might cover too much of the window, blocking too much of the available light, but I wonder what you folks think. It's 73" wide and from the top of the window to the bottom is 42".
