I found this in an ancient cordial booklet. A very handy list to have on hand when one is organizing ones party menu.

CORDIAL COMPANIONS FOR FRUIT
Anisette Fresh pineapple, oranges, peaches, pears
Apricot brandy Apricots, peaches, melon, oranges, plums
Blackberry brand Melon, peaches, pears, plums, grapefruit
Cherry Brandy Berries, melon, cherries, pineapple, pears
Curacao Berries, oranges, apricots, grapefruit, peaches
Crème de cacao Bananas, pears
Crème de menthe Pineapple, grapefruit, pears, pomegranates
Ginger brandy Oranges, peaces, pears, baked apples
Peach brandy Peaches, pears, oranges, pineapple, tangerine
Peppermint schnapps Same as Crème de Menthe
Triple sec.. Same as Curacao.
