Daylily Budcount 2013

Hazel Crest, IL(Zone 5a)

Please feel free to add as many you have stats on to this list. I just limited my list to the top 20. I have more stats here for zone:5 if anyone is searching for something specific. Just ask your question here.
Genesta: 140, 137. This one is bud building. The count would be higher if it was still warm. This surpasses the "up to 120 buds" that Mike Huben wrote about. I will take some final pic of the scapes when the cold finally stop the other buds. Got one proliferation.

Hazel, I meant to ask, If you send seeds, should I plant them now, put them in freezer or just wait for spring? Alda

Hazel Crest, IL(Zone 5a)

Alda, for your climate you can plant them now. You could plant them directly in the ground or start them in pots to keep a better track of them until they get bigger. Mike

My lullaby baby avg. 24 buds and 9 scapes , all fired up had 13 buds avg. on 24 scapes. Tell me how to read your numbers.

Thanks, Mike

Meant to ask what's a noir, anything like a dip or tet.

Thanks, Mike

Pointgarden, "NOID" means that there is no current name for the plant at this time. Possibly due to a lost tag or the flower is a seedling. Seedling is a plant from seed that is not registered with a name thru the AHS. My number is just the amount of flowers on each scape.

Thank you, never heard that expression before.

Just short for NO ID !
