Fragrant Star Azalea

Hidden Meadows, CA

Has anyone grown a Fragrant Star Azalea in zone 9?

Hurst, TX(Zone 7b)

I do not have one but I was going to congratulate you. It is a nice smelling azalea. I saw it in East Texas at a nursery but did not buy it then. Grrrrr. Should be ok in Zone 9. I was also told it handles moisture (too much moisture I mean) better than other azaleas. You can put it near a walkway where the scent wafts. That is how I discovered it at the nursery.
