I have 2 favourite "weeds"; wild violets, because when they run rampant in the back yard (instead of lawn) in the Spring it's just so darned pretty! =)

And clover, 'cause it seems to attract the bunnies, and I do love bunnies!

Do you use the burdock root for something other that tea? and what are it's virtues?

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

It is a medicinal herb (giant though ) Most parts of the plant are used for tea ,
However , it it used like bamboo shoots in cooking also , Has to be used fresh and thinly .
Sleep aid , , detoxifying agent ,blood purifier , I will try a link , i'm not good at this .

Thank you for your response, I did find a link to making burdock tea

Is that how you make it?

That is how , mine is often green and tastes to green when I use the fresh root ,What I have now that has been dry awhile looks that light brown color ,
Difference from fresh to cooking it in oil so it will store ,
I can do the green mints and the nettle okay , because their green , I keep looking for ways to improve the taste ,,
