Foliage 2013

No foliage pictures yet this year? Here is A.p. Coonara Pygmy to get things started. This is a 4 year old tree.

very nice wynne - one I do not have - does it always get the pink coloring in the fall?

Can't remember for sure. I checked for a picture from last year (the first year I owned it) and that picture, although it shows more red and orange than pink, was taken 10 days later in the month, so can't be used for fair comparison. But I can say that I loved this tree all summer, it kept putting on new colorful leaves and looking good. The picture below was taken on August 14.

looks like a nice one for a container and I have a couple free after planting more out in the yard - hummmmmm

I don't think you would regret it. This is my favorite of my jm's. Of course, I only have about 10 in all, so it is not a large field for comparison.:-)

A baby 'Baton Rouge" I picked up last week. It was grown in western North Carolina, a much cooler climate, so it has already turned. My own JM's are still green, it was 76 at 8:30 this morning, still feels like summer here.
