I have to brag since I've never entered anything in a Fair before (except my Arabians back when...)

Good Morning... a chilly 47º here right now.

News from the Fair: My Chive Blossom Vinegar won 1st Place, and my Ruby Basil Vinegar took 2nd place! My friend Susan's entries in preserves (peach jam, pickled okra, Honey Dijon Mustard) didn't place, but her homemade vanilla extract made from the Madagascar vanilla beans we shared earlier this summer won a blue, as did a man's neck scarf. Her gorgeous huge pot of mixed Caladiums took 2nd place.

I'm well pleased!
