Repotting from outside to inside

Milwaukee, WI

I have nice plants planted outdoors in the ground.
I want to bring them inside for the winter. Do I
cut them back when repotting or do I leave the
plant as full as it was outdoors?

Depends on your light situation. They like lots of light. I have to prune mine back some because they grow well in a good summer and get too big for my inside plant room. you can prune and root the cuttings and remember to feed them during the winter if you want them to bloom. I am hoping this advice isn't too late for you. If it is, get some seeds when the burpee catalog comes out and plant those up.

Here's a picture of one of my geraniums in the garden window from this week. Also a picture of 'Vancouver Centennial' with its summer color on it. Without my garden window, the VC leaves would be all green.
