I have had a lot of fun making these two gardens. A friend of mine made the boxes out of weathered 2x4s cut down and put cleats on the bottoms. I used a black plant tray to line them to prevent leaking. A thin layer of charcoal to keep the soil 'sweet', cactus mix then decomposed granite for the cactus garden. Potting soil and moss for the Fairly garden.
