All variegated Rose of Sharon ( hibiscus syriacus) I see sold are sterile. I was hoping there is a variety, or chance seedling someone grew at home that is variegated but the plant can produce seeds.
I prefer dark red/maroon colored flowers but others colors will do if that's all anyone could find.
