Pond Lighting

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Hi all. I'm wanting to get some stream/waterfall lighting. Anyone have any ideas about what's best?

Hi Mrs. Ed,
Lighting any water feature is such a beautiful addition. If your stream is shallow maybe above ground lights would be nice. Either way I'm sure you will really enjoy lighting your water up.

PS Many pond suppliers carry a large variety of lighting on their websites.

I'm not an experienced ponder but I think these differently colored submersible lights are neat for the money. - http://www.harborfreight.com/20-watt-submersible-spotlight-47604.html

Thanks both! I see so many lighting options online Bonnie, but hard to know which is better. LED or Halogen? Underwater, above water? How many watts? bah. so many choices. We have some lovely path lighting right now that is halogen, so I'm thinking I'd want to match that warm color.
