I have a shed out back (really a glorified lean-to) with a dirt floor. I would like to park my garden tractor in it, but I'm concerned about rust. My budget is very limited, but I do have access to as much free gravel as I care to haul. If I were to put down a layer of plastic sheeting and then a layer of gravel, do you think that would make an acceptable spot to park my tractor? If so, how thick a layer of gravel would you reccommend, keeping in mind I live in frosty Western Wisconsin? Any other ideas for a cheap fix?
