Can I get seeds from them? Should I take cuttings? If I cut, what do Ido with the small plants over the winter?
Verbena propagation
I assume you are talking about the short, ground cover verbenas, and I cannot answer your question about them. But if you are talking about the tall purple verbena bonariensis, mine readily self seed each year. The seedlings come up pretty late in the spring/early summer and usually where I don't want them, but they transplant pretty well, just do it in the late afternoon or on a cloudy day
You are correct, I'm talking about the small annuals. I read they are very difficult to propagate from seeds, but I love their looks.
