Packing help, please

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

I would like some info on how to prepare and pack daylilies for shipment. I plan on using USPS 3 day priority. Thanks in advance.

I wash roots and trim foilage off to about 3 inches above the roots. After I wash and trim them, I let them air dry for a couple of hours. I do not ship them wet if I can help it. When they are dry enough, I wrap in newspaper and put them in the priority shipping box. Some people, and I did this at one time, will wrap a wet paper towel around the roots before wrapping in the newspaper. If they are in transit awile, this can cause molding. That is why I discontinued doing it that way.

Thank you very much.
