It's only the 1st week in August and my basil plants, which had been thriving, have started turning yellow, with bits of brown/black. What's up with that?? They usually keep producing until fall.
What's wrong with my basil?
looks like downy mildew to me.

Whoa, this is bad news. I agree that it looks exactly like downy mildew, which I had never heard of or seen before. There goes my pesto production and gift line. Guess I gotta go out there and dispose of the darned things. Thanks for yr help.
