small gourds

I need a garden art idea for small gourds......I have saved them from last year, they are dried, but still splotchy colored.......what can I make from them....I have a lot.

I think they are too small for birdhouses.....these are the "egg gourds" and a bit larger....any ideas would be appreciated. thanks
