Are your tomatoes late?

Albany, ME(Zone 4b)

Are your tomatoes late this year? Ours have only max 2 inch green tomatoes. I'm wondering if all the wet weather might have just slowed down maturation??? I think I heard on the radio that Maine had as much rain in May/June as it had all last summer.

I picked one small red one....there are a few small green ones on the rest of my plants....I think the rain washed away most of the fertilizer!

I have lots of green ones no red yet, but my neighbor has had tons of them. I've already made a batch of sauce from his.

Any idea what caused the difference between yours and his?

I started mine from seeds he bought them already started. I also winter sowed my seeds and that makes them a bit slower. They are doing great height wise now just no ripe ones yet.

I have lots and lots of green tomatoes. I'm leaving for vacation on the 9th and I just bet I won't get a single ripe tomato before I leave.
