I have a Mandrian Wind, it is about five years old and lives in the bathroom for the winter and outdoors for the summer. It is in need of a trim. Can I cut it back and see blooms for the winter?? I plant to pot the trimmings so I have more plants, but how far back can I clip it ???????

A "BIG" thank you for the site, I pruned my hib back about 1/3 and it is just beautiful, the branches have filled out, many new leaves and the blossoms are all over the plant, WOW!!!!
